Brian has over 30 years experience in law enforcement including over 25 years in training and Special Weapons & Tactics. Brian served in various roles with the several Emergency Response Teams including entry team, chemical munitions, team leader, sniper and eventually team commander. Brian retired from the Trempealeau County Sheriff's Office, where he held the position of Chief Deputy, November of 2015, but has remained as a part-time officer and trainer with Trempealeau Police, Galesville Police and his former agency, Trempealeau County Sheriff's Office. Brian is also a firearms, tactical response and fitness instructor with Western Technical College in Sparta, WI.

Patty Stoughtenger

Patty has been with the La Crosse County Sheriff's Office since 2010. Formerly working in the Patrol, Investigative, and Court Services Divisions, she now serves in the Training Division overseeing all aspects of training within the agency. Patty is a DOJ certified EVOC Instructor and Scenario Instructor, a Field Training Officer, Glock Armorer, Taser Instructor, and Less Lethal Instructor. Patty has been on La Crosse County's multi-jurisdictional Emergency Response Team since 2012 and is currently an Assistant Team Leader. She has also served as a mechanical and ballistic breacher, entry specialist, shield Instructor, chemical, NFDD and less lethal specialist, and Bearcat driver. She is proud to serve as the Region 4 representative.

Jeff is a Captain with the Marathon County Sheriff's Office and has been a law enforcement officer since 2005. He is proud to serve on the Marathon County Sheriff's Office SWAT Team since 2008--a 28-man multi-jurisdictional team. He currently serves as Assistant Team Commander and formerly operated as a sniper and entry team member.

Jake has been with the Eau Claire County Sheriff’s Office since 2018. Formerly working in the Jail Division, and Patrol Division, he now serves as the Court Services Unit Sgt. Jake is a DOJ certified TECC and CPR/First Aid Instructor, Glock Armorer, AR Armorer, and EMT. Jake has been on the Eau Claire County Regional SWAT team since 2023 as an Operator. He proudly represents his region serving on the board as the Secretary.

James "J.T." Wohling

J. T. is the Assistant Chief of Police for the City of Hayward Police Department. Before becoming the Assistant Chief of Police, J.T. spent almost four years as a detective for the City of Hayward. Along with being Hayward's representative for the Wisconsin Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, he is also an Assistant Team Leader for the Sawyer County Tactical Response Team. J.T. has served on the MTOA board since 2014 and is a part-time patrol deputy for the Sawyer County Sheriff's Department.

Will Krueger

In 2008, Will began his law enforcement career in Southern Wisconsin. Will fulfilled a lifelong dream by moving to the Northwoods with his family, and was hired by the Vilas County Sheriff's Office. Will quickly began serving on the Vilas County SWAT Team, and currently serves as an Operator on the entry team. He has a diverse list of specialty work experience, from several different law enforcement agencies. Will has been a Wisconsin DOJ Certified Law Enforcement Instructor of Firearms(Handgun and Rifle) and PCS since 2013. Will enjoys the TEAM aspect of SWAT operation and Law Enforcement. He utilizes this knowledge and experience to volunteer in his community by coaching Youth Football, encouraging each player to be accountable and uphold their responsibility to support their TEAM. He is honored to be working with the Midwest Tactical Officer's Association as a Regional Board Member representing Area 3

Beaver Dam Police Department

After just shy of a decade in corrections, in 2022 Joey moved to a second shift patrol officer position with the city of Beaver Dam Police Department. Joey holds DOJ instructor certification in Defensive Tactics, General LE, General Jail, General Secure Detention, Scenarios as well as a Taser instructor, Ballistic Shield instructor, and a Drone pilot. Joey has been on the Beaver Dam Emergency Response Team since 2023 as an entry operator and interior drone operator. Joey is also apart of the Bike Unit, Drone Team, Mobile Field Force, Project Lifesaver Team

Jim Harper

Marinette County Sheriff's Office

Jim Harper has been a Patrolman with the Marinette Police Department since 2022, bringing extensive law enforcement experience that began with the Menominee Police Department in 2010, where he served eight years as a Patrol Sergeant. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology from Ferris State University, and currently serves as a Team Leader and Training Coordinator with the Marinette Special Response Team. A Field Training Officer and Tactical Response Instructor, Jim is also a Glock and AR-10/AR-15 Armorer, Drug Recognition Expert, and board member of the Midwest Tactical Officers Association. Outside of law enforcement, he owns a small business, races an IMCA Sport Modified, and enjoys hunting, fishing, and the outdoors.

Charlie Logan

Sawyer County Sheriff's Office

Charlie started in law enforcement in 2003, beginning with the City of Hayward Police Department and then moving to the Sawyer County sheriff's Office in June of 2018. Charlie is an instructor in firearms, Taser, PepperBall, less lethal munitions, distraction devices, and chemical munitions. Charlie has been a member of the Sawyer County SWAT Team for 11 years which employs members from several departments in the area. Charlie has had several positions while on the team including team leader for four years, and is currently the team commander.

Caleb Jorstad

Deputy Jorstad has proudly served with the Sawyer County Sheriff’s Office since beginning his law enforcement career in 2018. He currently serves as the Court Services Deputy and is actively involved with the Sawyer County SWAT Team as a certified drone pilot and Head of the Drone Team. In addition to his law enforcement duties, Deputy Jorstad coordinates the Cops and Bobbers program, helping build positive relationships between law enforcement and youth through outdoor experiences and community engagement.

Ryan Krummel

Ryan Krummel is a seasoned law enforcement officer and former U.S. Army veteran currently serving as a full-time Patrol Deputy and SWAT team member with the Sawyer County Sheriff’s Office. Ryan is the tactical emergency medical support (TEMS) representative for the organization and is an EMT Basic. His extensive background includes prior service as a Police Officer for both the City and Township of Hayward (2022–2024) and over a decade of military experience as a Cavalry Scout and UH-60M Blackhawk Crew Chief/Mechanic in the Wisconsin Army National Guard.
